RED & BLUE

Its a new birth,

its a time to celebrate,

Its a new birth,

its a time when hope is real,

all the months have gone by now you see the light,

Born and raised,

in a place where poverty lingers,

born and raised,

struggling just to see tomorrow,

even if he cried,

there’s no one to lend a helping hand,

SECOND PART,

Sailed to manhood,

to survive his got to fight,

sailed to mankind,

A gun in his hand he thinks he is protected,

little does he know prison will come his way,

through his eyes now,

he starts to see the world so clear,

through his eyes now,

shadows of old are now erased,

tears roll down from his eyes and now he see’s red and blue,

Mantra

Never give up,

Never tear your heart out,

find yourself,

its never to late.

I see the sun outside my window

but it is cold out there

under the sun a paradox

Contradictions legislate

the highest mountain is down to earth and that’s the truth

while our tall ego’s drive the lands apart

the trees wave the sky’s and that’s no lie

while we wave love goodbye

We have come a long ways

we should know right from wrong

when will we ever understand the way to our hearts 

Second part

The bells ring and mourning springs

a parallel to what they desire

for the state of the government

a symphony played by the deaf

we need to know the situation

if we want to change a generation

listen and learn

politics are everywhere

stagger those unaware

THIS IS THE LIFE

I wake up in the morning storm

Ain’t no sun within my reach

Sometimes life can seem like its going nowhere

I trust my heart and live today

Even if tomorrow is the same

Perseverance is my middle name

There’s no way I will get tired

all I can do is abide and ride

hoping one day I will say

MANTRA.

Do you feel your life is tough

and you think you had enough

situation feels like its never ending

Turn that into positive

when your down you can only rise

I promise that a breakthrough is in your path

struggle builds a stronger heart

where the ground was complete

flew back in time

where I came to meet my destiny

made many friends

I never made an enemy

because of one thing we agreed

reflection flashed through my screen last night

the deception was blinding

a transceiver through my speaker woke me up at dawn

through my ears come waves of misconception
