SONIC BOOM

Frozen in time

The twenty first century cries

All they can do is look back and listen to historical recorded reels

Lessons unlearned while disregard is nearly mastered

So let me take you to another dimension where vision is a capable sound

There’s a vicious red already canned in a factory

you’ll be bought and sold unless you break the ice and set your mind free

Now if you run

or if you hide

you’ll break your bones

and you will loose

But if you feel

and if you hear

Your going to fly

and hit the sonic Boom

A generation moving faster than the speed of light

ain’t clever to move that fast before know what light really is

and where are we rushing to

If we don’t know where we came from

I guess the answer is shielded on a pinnacle of which we are afraid to tread

Forget the threat forget the risk

ain’t no pain but gain if you do what’s right then you will reign

Disconcerting how humanity judges in generalisations

if we made that decision to change our ways

I reminisce when I was a child

mamma pushed my swing high towards the sky

I want to see my face behind the shinning light

Country side where we lived

back then not a care in the world

I couldn’t wait for the next day

So I could play all day

friend of mine lets plant this seed

I want to watch my garden grow so let the rain, let it pour

this was a time of innocence before the wind brought the storm

It felt like forever to endeavour change

I turned ten today my dream came true

Everyone I care about is here

everywhere in the world is the same,

I need to find another way to end this pain

but I know one day I will be free at last

I see the sun outside my window

but it is cold out there

under the sun a paradox

Contradictions legislate

the highest mountain is down to earth and that’s the truth

while our tall ego’s drive the lands apart

the trees wave the sky’s and that’s no lie

while we wave love goodbye

we should know right from wrong

when will we ever understand the way to our hearts

The bells ring and mourning springs

a parallel to what they desire

for the state of the government

a symphony played by the deaf
